There are several appropriate and inappropriate ways for performing facial skin care. Many people accept that the application of a lot of facial creams and skin care products will actually increase their chances of getting better looking skin and keeping it that way. However, the truth could not be further.

The real fact is that skin in general does not really need a lot of products to achieve that glowing look. The first step to healthy looking skin is to know your skin type. It is only then that you will be able to choose the facial skin care product that matches your skin type. This step is very important as the wrong skin care can often make your skin look worse that when you started.

Step Two To Proper Facial Skin Care

You probably guessed by now that cleansing has a very important role to play in giving your skin proper skin care. However, once you have chosen a product that matches your skin type, maintaining a daily cleansing routine is what will eventually give you the results that you are after. It is important that once you start, you stick to it to avoid complications or blemishes. Your routine for facial skin care in the morning can be done without using any soap or cleanser.

If your face tends to get a little oily from oils and sebum that have accumulated during your sleep, you might want to wash it off with water. If you face is usually very oily, you might want to add a little amount of cleanser to your morning routine to wash the oily residue off your face. If you regularly wear make-up to go to work or when you go out, it is highly recommended that you use a cleanser after you have taken off your make-up. Ensure also that the water is just warm enough so as not to cause any broken capillaries.

Step Three To Proper Facial Skin Care

The skin is the biggest organ in the body and unlike any other, its cells are constantly dying and new ones form to replace the dead ones. The dead layer of skin, although unseen by the naked eye, can block pores and cause blemishes and needs to be “removed” on a regular basis to allow your pores to “breath”. This is called exfoliation and should be performed weekly to be beneficial. There are many ways that you could use to exfoliate your skin but it is far better to contact your dermatologist for a professional exfoliation. Although this could sometimes get quite pricey, you know that you are giving your skin the best treatment possible.

If however you cannot afford professional exfoliation, there are also some packs on the market that will allow you to perform this yourself.

Step Four To Proper Facial Skin Care

Many people do not moisturize their skin/face because they believe that they have oily skin. The truth is that only people with acne need not moisturize. If you have oily skin, try to find a moisturizer that will not clog your pores. Only use these if your skin is extra oily.

If you love going to the beach, there is nothing as important as sunscreen. For proper facial skin care, you must avoid the damage that the sun can cause to your skin. Follow all these steps above and you too can have healthy, younger and glowing looking skin.

By: Michel Marchand

As you browse the cosmetic counters at department stores you may find that you are quickly discouraged by the price tags on many of their products. For many of us, facial products are not on the top of our budget listed as an important expense, instead the cost of our facial products fall under general expenses with no more than ten or twenty dollars being allotted for that expense. Therefore we end up searching for cheaper alternatives of costly items. Often you may find that some products are expensive for a reason, specifically because of a special ingredient in the product.

However, often time’s companies increase the cost of their product because the demand has increased, not because the cost of the ingredients in the product has increased. If you find that a facial skin product you were using is suddenly ten dollars more expensive, then you may want to consider looking for another brand. Often you will discover that many facial products have the same ingredients, the only difference is the label and the brand name. If you are willing to take the time, you will likely find that many cheaper products have the same ingredients as the more fancy, expensive products. One way of finding facial skin care on a budget is by simply taking the time to search for the right product.

Facial skin care on a budget can be a very experimental, and great way, to discover the various natural ingredients that are available to you that will help you with your skin care. If you browse online you will find many product alternatives for facial skin care on a budget. There are many sites online that will list many recipes for facial masks, facial scrubs, toners, or facial cleaners. You will find that there are many options available. One example of facial skin care on a budget is the use of an avocado; by blending avocado with olive oil you can make a mask that you can apply to help moisturize your skin. There are many cheap alternatives that anyone can use for facial skin care on a budget.

If you are not completely confident with your ability to blend and make your own facial skin care products, then you can always browse your local drugstore and find some reasonably priced products that will fit your budget. If you search online you may also find sites that offer discounted facial products as an incentive to try the product. As you browse products for facial skin care on a budget, you will not only want to keep in mind your spending limit, but your skin type as well to ensure you purchase the right products.

By: Milos Pesic

If you’re like me, you can look back on your youth and remember the health and radiance that your skin once had. Now, years later you may notice sagging facial skin and wonder what can be done about it. Well, if you read on, you will see that recent advancements in skin care science have produced some extremely effective products for sagging skin.

The primary cause of sagging facial skin is a depletion of collagen and elastin in the body. These two proteins are responsible for our skin having its full, rich appearance. The loss of collagen and elastin happens to everyone as the years go by. If it is inevitable, what can be done about it? Is there any way to avoid losing these two critical compounds in our skin?

Before I cover the effective new skin care ingredients that address this issue, let’s look at some misinformation that everyone has heard, but is absolutely not true. Primarily through the marketing programs of some of the large skin care companies we have been led to believe that collagen is one of the most important ingredients to have in a cream or lotion. It even makes sense. If our levels of collagen are dropping, then let’s replace it through the lotions we put on our skin.

The problem with this reasoning is that collagen cannot be absorbed through the skin. Science has shown that collagen molecules are too large to be absorbed. There is only one way to increase the levels of collagen in our skin. We must help our bodies produce their own collagen and elastin.

The natural production of collagen and elastin requires other proteins in order to take place. The primary one is keratin. Keratin is used throughout our bodies for many purposes. One thing our bodies do with it is to convert it into other proteins such as collagen and elastin.

A New Zealand company has developed a way to extract the keratin from the wool of sheep and convert it into a form that is easily absorbed and used by our bodies to produce collagen. This ingredient is known as Cynergy TK. Cynergy TK has many beneficial qualities. Here are just a few:

1. By supporting the body’s ability to produce collagen and elastin, it reduces lines, wrinkles and sagging of the skin.
2. It improves firmness and pliability of the skin.
3. It aids in reducing inflammation in the skin.
4. It aids in the generation of new skin cells.

It does all this and yet it is not well known in the western world. Because of this, you need to look to small, lesser known companies to find products for sagging skin that are this effective. I discuss this in depth on my website.

There you have it. Because of the many recent advancements in skin care technology, there is a new class of natural skin care products that are very effective for sagging facial skin. Cynergy TK, along with other recently developed natural ingredients has the ability to change our expectations when it comes to taking care of our skin.

By: Eileen Tobin

Healthy skin is the most important element of a great looking face. Daily skin and facial care is much more effective in making us look beautiful than any cosmetics in the world. It is not only easy to achieve; it is a critical thing you can do for yourself. It is very important; no matter what skin type you have, to clean your face every day. Deep cleansing is important. It keeps pores clear, skin healthy and you looking good. A good scrub is essential for healthy clean skin. It will remove dead cells and smooth the surface of your face.

The scrub should be strong without being damaging. Stay away from scrubs that contain rough elements like ground bits of nut or seed extracts. Moisturizing is a necessity. Again, the product with the least amount of chemical additives is the best. Always use a light moisturizer on your face after cleansing and shaving and don’t forget your neck.

Facial skin care begins with cleansers; they help in the exfoliation of the skin and are gentle on the skin. There are special facial cleansing gels to remove facial make-up. Facial cleansers also refresh the skin. Healthy skin is young looking skin. There are preventative techniques that can promote the best skin possible and keep it looking its best longer. The most important thing that you can do to shelter your skin from damage is by establishing a good skin care regimen. It is very important to clean your skin every day. Deep cleansing is vital as it keeps pores clear and skin healthy. Cleansing products should be as chemical-free as possible.

Skin Care Tips for Black Spots

1. Make a paste of saffron and add some honey, apply it on the face to remove black spots.

2. Apply the paste of turmeric and curry leaves on the face and wash it after 15 minutes.

3. Grind dried basil leaf, neem and mint. Add some turmeric powder and rose water to make it in a paste form and apply it on the spots.

4. Soak a chappathi in milk overnight. Make it into a paste and apply it on black heads. Repeat for several days.

5. Make a paste with mehndi and oil and apply on the face.

Skin Care Tips for Glowing skin

1. Mix half-a-cup honey to your bath water for soft and smooth skin.

2. Carrot juice applied daily fades blemishes.

3. A facemask of egg white and honey gently removes the tan from your face.

4. For oily skin, apply a mixture of grapes, lemon and egg white.

5. For a soothing body pack, prepare a paste of mint leaves and almonds. Mix it with warm water and apply all over your body. Leave it till it dries and rinse with warm water.

6. Cucumber is a natural cleanser. Mix cucumber juice with milk and use it instead of a cleanser.

7. Mix vinegar and rose water in equal quantities and apply.

Skin Care Tips for pimples

1. Make a paste with sandal wood and turmeric and apply it on the face.

2. A mixture of crushed mint leaves and oats will reduce pimples.

3. Crush garlic and take the juice and apply it on the face daily to reduce pimples.

4. Mix thick curd, turmeric and two drops of oil. Apply on the face.

Taking care of your face is very essential. The skin on your face needs more attention than the rest of your body because it has more oil glands. The forehead, eye, nose and chin area need extra care because of the extra oil glands. You need to perform a brief morning and a longer evening regimen everyday, whether you think you need to or not. After you have your own facial regimen, cleaning your face will take only five to ten minutes a day.

Your morning facial care should take place in a shower or at a sink. You should clean the face with luke-warm water and a creamy cleanser or gel wash. Try to avoid bar soap because it will strip the face of its natural moisturizers. Blot the skin dry with a towel, never rub the skin dry. Next, tone the skin on the face. Toning the skin will help remove any make-up or residual cleanser that may have been left behind. Skin toners also help to restore the natural pH level and keep the skin clear, clean and ready for hydration.

After applying the toner, use a day cream which should be specialized for your skin type. A moisturizer will leave the skin feeling soft and smooth. Day creams also help with dryness and smooth away fine lines in the face. Sunscreen can also be applied over the day creams when needed. When you are finished, you make apply make-up if you wish to wear it.

Your evening facial regimen should begin the same as the morning. Wash your face with luke-warm water and a cleanser or purifying gel wash. The skin cleansers will help remove any make-up you had on. A toner should then be applied. The easiest way to use a toner is on a cotton swab or pad. While your face is still wet, you should begin exfoliating.

Exfoliation is the process of removing dead skin cells. These dead skin cells cause the face to look dull. The build up of dead skin cells can contribute to blockage of pores which causes acne. Also this build up will not let the products you use to penetrate the skin or work to their full capacity.

Exfoliation will brighten and give the skin a healthier glow. Afterwards apply a night cream and if you want use a firm eye cream around the eye area. Also, never go to sleep with make up on as this will clog your pores while you sleep.

By: Clint B Dixon

Are you interested in natural skin care? Face the facts. Skin care is a minefield and if you don’t get it right you can damage your skin, and your health, rather than help it.

Are you horrified to hear that you can damage your skin and your health? It’s sad to say but there are facial skin care and anti aging products on the market which contain ingredients which may be damaging to your health and your skin.

It’s not just facial skin care products. It can include a wide range of personal and beauty and body care products such as soaps, shampoos and cosmetics as well.

Give you one quick example. A recent study on well-known big brand lipsticks found lead in over 50% of the lipsticks tested. This isn’t unknown bottom shelf lipsticks but big brand names you may well be using today.

And it’s not restricted to lead in lipsticks. There are a wide range of suspect ingredients in many skin care products, anti aging products and cosmetics, some even “known to cause cancer”.

So if you weren’t interested in this before you may now start to show more of an interest in natural skin care. Face the facts and start to learn more about what’s in your personal products.

But notwithstanding the fact that the big brands may well have suspect ingredients, you’re still getting older and you’re still getting face wrinkles. What can you do about it?

Fortunately there are small niche anti aging companies that recognise the problems with the big name brand anti aging lines. They produce a wide range of natural skin facial care and facial products such as excellent face lotions and creams which use natural ingredients known to be both safe to use on your skin and effective in improving skin health.

In fact the best natural skin products are way more effective at producing a result you want than the big brand names.

Why is this? Because the big name companies direct most of their budget to marketing. You’re probably sick and tired of all those TV ads for the new latest and greatest antiaging product advertised by big name stars who’ve probably never used the product and to get paid megabucks to tell you how good it is.

It costs a fortune for all that TV advertising and these companies usually direct their budget towards marketing campaigns at the cost of product quality.

These small niche natural skin care companies cannot compete on marketing because they do not have the budget so they compete on product quality. They produce excellent quality products.

One in particular produces a new anti-aging line that is cost comparable with the big brands but which is totally safe to use and extremely effective. They are confident enough in both the safety and effectiveness of their products that they are willing to offer a money back guarantee to their customers.

Try getting that from one of the big name brands.

So if you’ve decided it’s time to consider natural skin care, face the facts. Natural anti-aging products are safer, more effective and cost competitive with the big brands. You can even try them risk free because of the money back guarantee.

Good natural facial skin care is available right now. It’s only available from a small range of niche companies, most of which you will never have heard of because they don’t advertise on TV. Despite that they make some of the worlds best anti aging products.

Visit my website to find out where to source the best natural skin care products.

By: Peter Wilson

Many beauty and skin care experts recommend that you follow the three step process of cleansing, toning and moisturizing your facial skin each morning and evening. Here are instructions for following these three steps:

When cleansing your skin, here are the steps to follow: First, you will want to wash your hands thoroughly (since you will be cleaning your face with your hands.) Use a well reviewed facial cleanser that is appropriate for your skin type (dry, normal, oily or combination skin). Use the amount of cleanser specified on the bottle (usually the size or a dime). After you have washed for a minute or so, be sure to rinse your skin thoroughly. (Step 1A. Next, you may want to exfoliate to remove any dead skin cells using a well reviewed exfoliating scrub. This mini-step, following the cleansing in Step 1 is optional.) Pat the skin dry with a clean towel. (Don’t rub, as this can be irritating to your skin.)

Step 2 is to use a toner (ideally one that goes well with your cleanser and is appropriate for your skin type). Apply a small amount of toner using a cotton ball or a cotton pad all over your face.

Following the toning step, you will want to moisturize (Step 3). Use the amount indicated on the bottle and be sure to apply the moisturizing lotion all over your entire face. Moisturizing is critically important, even for oily and/or combination skin. The key is to buy the right kind of moisturizer for your skin type. (The label on the bottle will indicate whether or not a particular product can be used for oily or combination skin.) You will also want to read plenty of customer reviews and professional reviews before making your purchases.

By: Riley Grant
